Hello brothers and sisters, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer Gilane, and I am one of your newly elected trustees. I'm currently a Team Leader, in Chassis on the first shift, as well as, Chassis and Quality department alternate committee person. A little about myself. I started my career in Janesville, Wisconsin Truck & Bus, in January 1997. I then transferred here to Fairfax in September 2008.  I’m a 3rd generation General Motors auto worker. I have several relatives who still benefit from our great union that are in retirement and currently employed.  I did go to school for accounting. However, I am not a degree holder. Life and hard decisions changed my course of career choices. I have always held the passion of getting back to that someday.  So, as a trustee, it may be the stepping stone to moving back into that direction. I feel that I am a hard worker, dedicated, and dependable. I will do my best to represent the membership.
