The new President of Local 2383 is Chris Parsley. Chris is a married father of two that loves his family dearly. He understands the needs of families and looks forward to helping the membership deal with the unique challenges that are presented while working at Martinrea.

 He comes to office after serving as a committeeman for the last two and half years. He was a part of the bargaining committee that negotiated the most recent contract. His experience here consists of working in all production departments across all shifts. Outside of Martinrea his relevant experience comes from the fourteen years he spent working at Ford’s KTP. There he piled up not only production experience but union representation as well. Chris hopes to be able to provide the leadership necessary to move our Local forward.

Chris has said many times he believes education is key to success. With that, he hopes to be able to convince the company that training and development are as important as production. With the new knowledge gained from that training we can all be ready for great things here in Shelbyville.
